Family-Centered Fridays: User-Centered Court Culture

In the first session of the Family-Centered Fridays Series, Hon. Bruce R. Cohen will lead a discussion on user-centered court culture. Judge Cohen is the former Presiding Judge of the Family Department of the Maricopa County Superior Court. In this session, Judge Cohen will encourage participants to consider how the judicial process can exacerbate trauma for families engaged in custody or child-related proceedings as well as how to be mindful of the impact exposure to trauma has on judges and court personnel.
